  • The camera is getting an improvement, which will make the action easier to follow when in narrow quarters.

  • A “Monster Flute” that will allow you to summon monsters.
  • Scenes from Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV and the “Omen” trailer will feature in the game as actual events.
  • For the passionate collectors out there, additional recipes, fish, and a gallery will be added.

Thankfully I'm not the only one that's ran into this issue but this is quite frustrating. So if you're like me and preloaded the game before release and unpacked the game this morning, you may have been forced to redownload the entire game again despite downloading it once.
Apparently downloading it the second time does work but multiple users have reported this issue on the Steam Forums. It's pretty ridiculous considering the download size is about 75GB's and most people like myself don't have the best internet connection. Basically this is more of a PSA to those that preloaded the game on Steam, it's also been happening with the high resolution texture pack as well.

And when it decided to restart, while most of the blame can be put towards your internet I do actually think some can be put on Square since Royal Edition on consoles has all the DLC and updates as separate downloads.
Think of it this way, it would've not hurt to adopt a similar method and have some of the DLC be separate downloads so that you can just install the base game and then the DLC later.
