Solution
Backup Exec Installation media software can be accessed from the Dashboard, Entitlements, and Downloads on the Veritas Entitlement Management System (VEMS) Licensing Portal.
NOTE: Backup Exec 16.2 End of Standard Support (EOSS) date April 2, 2019.
The EOSS date is the final date that Standard Support is provided.
Extended Technical Support (ETS) must be purchased to receive support after April 2, 2019.

NOTE:After May 2, 2018, Backup Exec 16 and earlier versions will no longer receive automatic security and quality updates via Symantec LiveUpdate.

Once the update is applied to the Backup Exec Server, the Remote Agents will need to be redeployed so that they receive the update.
Manually download updates
Updates are released periodically. The Feature Pack or Service Pack is a roll up of all prior Feature Pack or Service Packs, Patches, or HotFixes. After a new update is released it is available for manual download using the links below. The update is normally added to Veritas Update (Backup Exec 20 and above) approximately two weeks after its release. The previous updates for that Backup Exec version are removed from Veritas Update.
If a Patch released after the current Service Pack is needed to resolve an issue, it can be manually downloaded and applied from the links below. The next Service Pack will include all Patches up to the date of the Service Pack.
Note:
- Windows Small Business Server (SBS) version downloads listed as SBS.
- Drivers for BE 12.0 and higher are included in HF/SP updates.
